“ BTG Wine Bar is one of my most favorite restaurants in SLC. The ambiance is amazing. The food is so good! Same food as Caffe Molise. I love the wine flights. We ordered the Polenta con Salsiccia and Gnocchi di Patate with chicken. The pastas come with an amazing side salad and bread. ”
“ Such delicious food!! We came on a Wednesday night to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations, but we probably would have been fine if we hadn't. Our server was very knowledgeable about all of the wines on their extensive wine list. We did a couple wine flights and got a cocktail. For food you can order from the restaurant above them (Cafe Molise) or you can order from their own menu which I highly recommend. Everything we ordered was impeccable. They were so great at making sure everything I ate was gluten free that I wasn't even worried about anything. I got their gluten free carbonara and it was amazing. The grilled asparagus was also to die for. Prices are fair, not as expensive as we thought it would be so that is nice. All around great experience here. ”
“ What an incredible place! I usually have trouble at wine bars since I only like sweet wines - but they had a flight that was perfect for me! Service and atmosphere were also incredible - thanks BTG! ”
“ Love it here. Awesome food, fabulous drinks and great service. Not many places around here to get such a selection of wine flights. I loved the ones i tried. And the lamb burger and fries was fantastic! Will be going here more often. Kind of a hidden gem as its stashed in the cafe molise basement with little signage. Great date night for sure. ”
“ Finally made my way to check this place out for Valentine's Day & absolutely loved it!! From the food to the service & atmosphere everything was amazing! My BF I shared the meat/cheese board, eggplant meatballs, lasagna & a spicy pasta. They were all extremely delicious... especially the eggplant meatballs which i highly recommend! It's definitely a cute date night spot to check out! ”
“ This place is an underrated treasure. I've passed by it so many times and also eaten at Cafe Molise upstairs. Everything there was amazing. Our server Mollie had us taken care of the entire time. Recommended wines for me and my mother who both have different wine tastes. We were very happy with all of her recommendations. Our water was always full and she checked in with all our dishes and wine to make sure we were having a good experience. I could go on forever about how good the service was. The food was incredible as well. We got the grilled shrimp for an appetizer. I had the Scampi Diavalo. It was great with the right amount of spice, I added the eggplant meat balls which was really important to me because so many Italian restaurants use red meat (which makes sense, but I don't eat it). Also always upgrade your salad to the Caesar, one of the best I've ever had. And lastly the atmosphere. It was one of the most quaint places, with lovely lighting, classy seating and tables. This was probably my favorite part. Cannot wait for another excuse to go there. ”
“ The Bestie and I headed Downtown to eat dinner at BTG Wine Bar. This is one of my favorite spots because in addition to their menu you can order from the Caffe Molise menu from upstairs. Best of both worlds. 》》Here's what We had - Summer Rain - Rum, mint, strawberry, fresh lime juice Raspberry Moscato Fizz - Vodka, moscato, raspberry, fresh lime juice. Foccacia with Marinara Italian Meatballs- Spicy Italian sausage & seasoned beef topped with marinara. Prosciutto Dates - Smoked almond stuffed dates wrapped in Prosciutto di Parma with red wine reduction & Gorgonzola crumbles. From Cafe Molise We ordered - Ravioli con Zucca - Butternut squash ravioli in a garlic brown butter sauce topped with Asiago cheese and balsamic reduction. Pappardelle al Sugo - House-made fresh pappardelle tossed with a savory, slow-cooked sauce of pork and beef with tomatoes, topped with Asiago. 《《 •I LOVED the Summer Rain cocktail, so refreshing for the warmer weather. •The Raspberry Moscato Fizz was also yummy just more liquor forward. •The Marinara was sooo good and the Foccacia had a great crunch with a soft pillowy center. •The Prosciutto Dates and Italian Meatballs were both great starters that definitely kept us munching until our entrees arrived. •Both of our Entrees came with salad with was lightly dressed in their house vinegarette and topped with cheese! •I Really Really Enjoyed my Ravioli con Zucca. Tender pasta, great filling and the balsamic drizzle over the brown butter sauce was perfection. •The Bestie thought her Pappardelle al Sugo was MOST Delicious, especially the sauce! BTG Wine Bar is such great spot for yummy drinks and delicious eats! ”
“ Another gem in the city!! Delicious bar snacks... the focaccia and burratta was out of this world. But the eggplant meatballs were the real star of the show. Unbelievable texture and flavor. The three of us wished we brought Yahtzee so we could’ve just chilled all night. The wine flights are awesome and the staff is super knowledgeable with great recommendations. Mollie was the orchestrator of a great experience. Late 1800 Scottish cabin/pub vibes. Great for a low key date spot or a chill night with good friends! Will be coming back! ”
